I'm not the best faceup artist on earth, but I have been practicing and I'm pleased that I've gotten so much better.
I sent Haika away twice to really good faceup artists to be repainted and they both completely IGNORED what I asked for, so both times I got an uber dark faceup and I tried both times to get used to it, but I just felt more and more distant from him. This one has some major imperfections so I guess I'l redo it in a week or so, then get him some eyelashes. Hope you guys like him! He feels like the character I know and love again for the first time in many years.
I just finished my Japanese language intensive today. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really sad that it's over. I have always hated school and I was terrified to go back again, but I loved taking this class and I can't wait to take more Japanese in the fall. It's crazy that after all these years, I've finally figured out what I want to study and I'm actually doing it. I hope it goes as well when I start Grad school this fall. Yay for moving forward with my life.
