I COME BEARING..SONG! XD
I have the melody for this one perfectly worked out. Its like a ballad in some parts and really upbeat in others. I just wish I had a darn mic..
This is for the duel in the BC Arc with Jouthing vs. Yuugi on the docks. ^^ I really like how it came out..not as much as the Bakuryou song, but tell me what you think =3
Yuugi[speaking, voice is very frail and he is on the verge of crying]: Jounouchi!! Jou, please, snap out of it! Don't let this go on any longer..[begins shaking slightly]
Malik/Jou[speaking]: Nonsense! Your friend is gone, dead, taken by the shadows. There is nothing you can do- it is impossible to reach out to him now. [insert cackle here]
Yuugi: Jounouchi..wake up..We're all your friends, we need you! [indicates with arm the crowd by the edge of the dock, consisting of Anzu, Honda, Seto, Mokuba, etc.(note: Shizuka is NOT here yet.)]
Seto: I beg to differ..
Mokuba: Shut up! Can't you see he's not right in the head?
Yuugi: [sends a glare in their general direction] Jou, I just..don't want to let this go to the point where..where..[begins to cry but tries to hold back]..I have to say goodbye.
Yuugi[singing. song right now is balladish, slow, sad, and sweet]: Jounouchi..I've known you too long,
don't be this way.
You're still my friend..no matter what hurtful
words you say.
For I know that is not you..
Your harsh words are not true,
And your heart! I feel it still shines through..
[sung a bit more confidently now, a little more up tempo]
Jounouchi..I know that you hear me,
you're in there somewhere,

Malik[singing, much more up tempo, very harsh and cynical] Jounouchi..don't struggle so hard,
for I am your friend!
Just get his card, and soon,

Music quiets, but tune still plays softly in the background. Shizuka enters the stage with Mai, running to the edge of the dock(yes, even with the bandages XD)
Mai[spoken, in disbelief]: Is that /Jou/?
Shizuka[spoken, interrupting Malik]: NO! Jou? Where is he?..I don't..I can't feel him..
Shizuka[singing, tempo much more slower, sang like in the beginning of the song.]: Big brother..don't you lose your hope,
I'm still by your side.
You hurt me.. but hey,
I'm willing to let that all slide!
And when everything is wrong..
You're there helping me be strong..
So now its my turn, big brother! Live on!
[Lights are dimmed very dark except around Jounouchi, so he's the only visible figure on stage. The rest of the cast does not move or sing, and the scene is frozen.]
Jounouchi[singing, very faintly. sounds doubtful/hopeless]: Shizuka..? I think I hear you,
no, it's all in my mind..
[voice becomes stronger] Yuugi-kun?..I hear your voice too!
I'm trying to find,
All those people I've brought shame,
But I hear them call my name..
Help me pull through, we have to end this game!
[Lights go back on, Jou returns to zombie-mode, scene resumes. Tempo rises, and the music, orchestrally speaking, becomes more intense.]
Yuugi[singing]: Malik, let him be!
Malik[singing]: Slave, don't dare fail me!
Shizuka[singing]: Jou, I'm scared to see..
Jounouchi[singing]: Friends, help me break free!
[All but Malik and Seto, because, well, they're not exactly his friends XD]: Jounouchi! We know you're alive,
You have not failed us!
We count on you..We love you the same,
You still have our trust!
[sung quietly/somberly]
And to think you once lost hope..
[music becomes a bit more comical now, and less intense. Its more of a speaking/adlibbing part if anything.]
Just deal with it, trust us, you'll cope!
And never scare us like that again, you dope..
Shizuka steps forward with a sort of nervous smile.
Shizuka[speaking]: Jounouchi..I'm ready to see!
All[yes, even Malik and Seto this time XD/sung very suddenly, but drawn out(at least 3 whole notes), and ended abruptly as Jou breaks out of Maliks control]: Jou~nou~chi!
[at this point Jou breaks out of Maliks control, and the song ends.]
I'm pretty satisfied with that one ^^
