This was a long week and it's not even over yet, and I'm not really getting a fun weekend out of it.
Well, Im considering going upstate..but I really need to stay home and study.
Anyway, I finished the rubber shell on my mold. I am actually the only one done with it.
It looks like we're getting plaster donated to us so that frail domestic people like myself do not have to lug around 25lbs of if from Compleat Scuptor. I am super excited about this project because I've never done this process for a live cast.
I have so many ideas to use this process (which is mainly used for larger casts) for next semester.
I am taking out the most loans for this final year.
I got a cap and gown email.
Weird. I feel like I've been at FIT forever (because I have).
The completion of this program I've committed my life to (for 6 years on and off) never dawned on me..It's like a job you never really plan on leaving because it doesn't demand much and pays well (which is kind of like my current job situation actually).
I'm quite nervous about next May.
What's going to happen!?
Will I get into the grad program of my dreams?
Will I get rejected and move to Portland?
Will I work or intern at Laika in Portland?!?
(the latter is ideal)
I think about these things all day.
Moving on to the present...I finished my painting today for the pop culture project.
BYE.
