Projects....

Now that I seem to be getting a bit of 'Work Space' once again (due largely, granted, to the Fact that I have now put most of my D.V.D.s in 'Wallets', and thrown out the Cases, and have thus now gotten my Tables back), I am Planning a few Projects over the next few months....

Sometime soon, now that I have received the Plans of Calcot Hall from The Flintshire Records Office, I will set about making a Model of it

Now, since looking at these Plans, and comparing them with the Pictures that I already had (as well as making Further Enquiries to The Flintshire Records Office), I have noticed that the Plans I got were not necessarilly how Calcot Hall actually ended up looking

Rather, the Plans were drawn up, certainly, but it seems that the Then Owner either ended up not liking them, or just didn't have the Money to go through with all the Changes

As the Plans were drawn up some 10 years prior to the Latest Pictures I have (which were done as part of a Survey at the time), I can only Presume that it was the latter

So....

It would seem that I have THREE Choices as to what my Model can look like....

I can either make it as it appears in the Earliest Picture that I have of Calcot Hall (which is merely a Front View), which was done some time around 1700

Or....

I can make it as it would have appeared if the Changes were made according to the Plans, which were done around 1902

Or....

I can make it as it appeared at the time of that Survey, which was done around 1910

At the moment, I'm looking at the 'Plan' Style, as they're the most and best Pictures I've got

Also soon, I am wanting to make a few Models for the Anniversary of the 'Roswell Crash'

To that end, I have been getting a few things from E-BAY recently....

The Model Kits of the 'Roswell' Craft, the 'Alien Attacker' (from ID-4), and Air Force One, as well as the 'Bob Lazar' Craft and a couple of 737s (which I'm intending to do as the 'Janet' Shuttle that flies the Staff between AREA 51 and Las Vegas), which I got from one of The Local Hobby Stores

I'm also wanting to make a few Models for the 'Galactica 80' 30th Anniversary in January (which falls on my Birthday, as it happens)

To that end, would anyone know where I can get some Decent Pictures (as in Plans, if possible) of the Turbine (a.k.a. Turbo Cycle)?
