SUPERMAN v DOOMSDAY

I watched SUPERMAN v DOOMSDAY this morning, which I got about 6 weeks ago (okay, so, I've had stuff to do)

For those not familiar with The Story, SUPERMAN does Battle with a Super-Being known as DOOMSDAY

During the Battle, they end up Killing each other

In The Comics, they went through The Saga of 'The Death Of Superman', 'Funeral For A Friend', 'A World Without Superman', and 'Reign Of The Supermen'....during which, we got two EVIL SUPERMEN (Red and Blue), a Clone of SUPERMAN in the Form of a 'New' SUPERBOY, and a Scientist who made himself a Powered Suit (similar to IRON MAN in many aspects), and took on the Persona of STEEL

In The Comics, also, the Lex Luthor we know is no more, as, the one they have now in Metropolis is from another Dimension, and is Good

In this Animated Movie, with Adam Baldwin (yes, that's right....JAYNE from 'Firefly' and 'SERENITY') as the Voice of SUPERMAN/Clark Kent, Anne Heche as Lois Lane, and James Marsters (Spike from Buffy/Angel) as Lex Luthor, they try and do Aspects of the ENTIRE Saga, all in a little over an hour (about 74 minutes, including Credits)

In this one, we don't get STEEL, Lex is still the same Lex, and it is HE that has Cloned SUPERMAN in an Effort to have his own Private Army of SUPERMEN

That is, until SUPERMAN has Returned from The Grave, and Battles with his 'Miss-Guided' Clone (he tries to deal out 'Justice' in his own way, by Killing a Criminal, and attempting to Kill Lex Luthor, as well as 'Threatening' to not help the 'Little People' any more, as, it stops him from being somewhere where he could be needed more

While there is a lot that is different, as with most Adaptations, I still found it VERY Enjoyable, and Recommend it to anyone that is a Fan of SUPERMAN :-)
