Running With The Empire....
I was passing a Shoe Store on my way home today, and noticed they had 'Star Wars' Runners there!!
On Display, in the Window of FOOTLOCKER in Swanston Walk, were the 'Darth Vader' and 'Stormtrooper' Styles by ADIDAS
Looked nice, with a 'Stylised' Darth Vader Helmet on the Black one (in Red), and a Stormtrooper one on the White one (in Blue), but at $140 each, I don't think so
I'm not *that* big a Fan of Star Wars
Mind you, it wasn't as if their 'Standard' Style was too much Cheaper, at $130
They had some kind of Promotion on when I saw them, as in, buy 'x' amount in either Style, and get a Free Poster
Can't really say that I've been much of a Jogger, to be honest, so if I *were* to get these, they'd probably just sit on the floor and gather dust
As it happens, I *am* thinking of doing a bit of Jogging when I have some time off next month, but I think, somehow, that I'll be able to find a *somewhat* more 'Affordable' pair than these 'Star Wars' ones, no matter how nice they may look
Afterall, if I were to get a pair of Runners at all, I'd be wanting them for Practicality, rather than what they might look like
Sure, I would want them for the 'Long-Lasting' Quality, but I think I might be able to get something a tad cheaper that would do the same job that *doesn't* have to be a 'Name Brand' (which let's face it, don't always last too long anyway if you're constantly using them), or cost anywhere near that much
Or....is that just 'Wishful Thinking' on my part??
