The needles are piercing. They are hard. And they are cold.
I have been sewing endlessly since Patience left on vacation. So much so that my fingers have begun to bleed are very stiff and sore. I've taken to wearing gloves when I am not working which she says is quite proper and lady-like but I cannot take them off for fear that she will worry. Being that everyone is very busy lately, I d-doubt such a small inconvenience like these hands will bother anyone anyway. It hurts a little to type this...
These costumes must be done. And I... I want to finish this dress for her. She'd look so skaista....
