A bear? Since when do we have bears--okay, stupid question in this place.

All right, whoever you are, since you're writing in the journal and no tears or blood are visible yet, can I assume it hasn't attacked?

Genius?

[About to say something about how his handwriting really takes a hit when he's scared, but then he notices the comment about being small.]

How small are you? And... more importantly, have you managed to get away from the bear yet?

...i hate not having an edit button too beforerossum February 4 2011, 19:47:19 UTC
Really small! You won't believe how hard it is to write with a normal pen. My fingers they do nothing!

He's sleeping in my bed. He talks! We are so confused.

Let's get a scale going here. Would you at least come up to my knees?

Better sleeping than eating, I suppose, but--[Hey, now, that sounds familiar.]--does his voice sound human to you?

I come up to your very girly hips ok, will you FOCUS on the more impor-important things like BEARS!

It--yeah?

live_ringer February 4 2011, 22:33:21 UTC
It's important because being very small might help you to hide in hard to reach places. ...Also, I'm going to pretend you haven't been assessing how my hips look.

You know, it's not the first time people have gotten animals that talk. Did this one sound familiar at all? Or hostile?

lol these keywords are so perfect beforerossum February 4 2011, 23:12:01 UTC
How do you hide from a bear in your own room?! ...It's cause you're skinny! Like a pretty boy.

[...Oh God why did he just say that? IMPULSE CONTROL. NEED IT BACK.]

He--he sounds kinda like one of the guys from my dream. Not hostile. He's just sleeping in my bed.

Wait--what are you saying here?

*snerk* live_ringer February 4 2011, 23:39:09 UTC
Did I say you had to stick to your room? (And you don't have much room to talk, as far as skinniness is concerned.)

An animal that sounds like someone from your dream? Yeah, this has happened before. I got one myself more than a year ago, but that was a dog and... considerably more manageable.

[He's tempted to ask which of the two men, but he won't bother over the journal.]

If I said there was a bear in bed what options do you think I--nevermind. I need bigger pens! (Please you're like two steps away from looking like a starving hobo.)

Wait that's him!? WHY IS HE A BEAR!! Catherine's not a bear!!

[Oh hey btw, Catherine is in the sphere. He didn't tell you? Oops. Now he did.]

Well, there's under the bed, for one. (Big words for a half-pint.)

I don't know, same reason the guy from my dream was a German shepherd? The Sphere moves in mysterious ways.

[Too bad Lyle thinks he's just picking a random person from his dream to say, "why not them!" about.]

Oh. I hadn't thought of that. (I'll sic my bear on you!)

...This is just wrong! They stuck their minds in animals?! What's to stop them from doing it to us! Can we get him out?

Wait I shouldn't be saying this on the journals.

[Biiig chunky strike through. He gets a bit overzealous with it though so it looks like a massive scribble]

(I'm shaking.)

[oh Genius. Your having less of a filter than usual is going to be interesting.]

They go away after a while, just like any other thing that comes around here. I have reason to believe it isn't lasting.

(Zip it or I'm taking out your ankles. OR WORSE)

...But...that's my dream-person. That means they have the real him somewhere!

...I know of at least one case where someone who was an animal like that came back as a normal human, later. So that's always a possibility.

I'm not sure which is worse.
