Lazy
Well I guess nothing much happens between triathlons....
I did another one yesterday but they canceled the swim due to excessive rip currents. I was OK with that. Instead they changed it to a run/bike/run (2miles, 10 miles, 2 miles). I didn't win anything (I got 4th) but I am pleased with my time. The run can always get faster, but I loved the bike. Jay got me a new bike for my birthday and this was the first race I got to use it in. There is something fun getting to use your own bike instead of borrowing someone' elses.
The next tri is June 23rd close to where my parents live. I'm hoping the west coast waves will be calmer than the east coast waves, although the quantity of sharks might be similar.
I am hoping to do one tri a month through October. I really enjoy doing them and Jay's plan worked. He bought me a nice expensive bike so I kind of feel obligated to do a few events.
The girls are still alive and doing fine. Suzi will be 5 this summer (yikes) and Lori is almost 2 1/2 and mostly potty trained. It has been messy but not nearing as messy as Suzi (some of you might remember the poo under the bed incident).
