Finally we have internet up and working again. It is so painful to not have internet. I didn't think I was very dependent on it but I guess I am. I had about 80 emails waiting for me after almost a week (of course most of those are spam), but still, I had to go through them. What made it even worse was that last weekend we got a laptop and I haven't been able to use it too much due to the lack of INTERNET! However, everything is back to "normal" and I can continue with my internet savvyness(?word).
I am keeping up with my triathlon training since it officially started this week. I have gotten in 2 swims, 2 cycles, and one run. Tomorrow is my second run for the week. There is only one day a week that we are to rest. If anything, this schedule should definitely get those last flabby parts a little more toned. Unfortunately it is making me very tired and very HUNGRY. I feel like I am eating everything is sight. I guess this means I'll need to get healthier foods to keep around the house. I better eat all the M&Ms so they are no longer in the house tempting me:)
I guess I didn't have enough to do in my life with 2 small kids, triathlon training, keeping house, and "serving my man" so I signed up to start the small business of The Pampered Chef. If you are unfamiliar with it, some one usually offers to host a show and I come to cook a dish using many of the wonderful products offered by Pampered Chef (cutting things, stoneware, pans, seasonings, recipe books). I am hoping that since I really like to cook and use this kind of stuff that I will have a better time at it than when I did Creative Memories. I enjoy scrapbooking, but I can do it for days and then forget about it for months. Hopefully with Pampered Chef, you have to cook everyday so you will need this stuff everyday, right?? Oh well, I'll see were this goes. I'm not turning it into a full time job, so maybe it will just be fun to do with friends and family.
I am planning for Suzi's 4th birthday party. We are having it on July 29th at 3:30. She wants an ice cream party (surprise), so we will have lots of ice cream with every topping imaginable, a water slide, and the playground. Hopefully I will be able to keep the kids (between 10-20 maybe) outside for most of the time. She is very excited.
Other than all of that, Lori is growing and growing wearing mostly 2T clothes and a few 3T -- she is only 18 months old!! She understands a great deal but still gets away with mostly grunting and screaming to get things. Oh well, in good time I suppose. With her attitude I'm not sure I want her to start talking. I'm sure she will start with a long list of complaints about ME.
Jay is good and working hard. I miss him on these long weeks. He finishes his 6th day on Saturday, then off for a week and a half. I guess I can live with that part:)
