How I got sucked into the JE world. (kinda)
Instead of just posting most of my fan thoughts on comments I've decided to post it on my LJ. I have my own LJ in the first place right?
And a post (and most posts) of
murasaki_five kinda inspired the lazy me to post all of a sudden. Though this one's not a long one, because I'm already hungry!!!! T___T

im also guilty of knowing news first. Because when I got back into this whole J-pop/je/... world, it was the height of Shuji to Akira. And I've just heard of Kinki & Kat-tun from way back like 2002? LOL
At first when I kept seeing on youtube results the kanjani8 tags, I even thought it was a junior group (OK please kill me now!)
So, I guess I even watched TEgo & Yamapi for quite sometime, even though they were still to be suspended or suspended already? sorry I forgot the time frame of my comeback to j-pop world. It should be more of being sucked to JE fandom.
As I got to read/watch more about them, I discovered that the whole group was was just thrown in together, breaking up junior groups. And that Tegoshi & Masuda were like nobody before their debut. And yeah, they ad that guy who left after a few months.
Then it seems that the whole world likes yamapi, ok next please.
although, that guy is becoming something (so far he is the only news member with a solo single, right?)
I liked tegoshi being the kiddy faced with an amazing voice. Because I thought Johnny's didn't have to have a singing voice anyway.
Then, I got to see Attenion Please. But Ryo-chan didn't really hit me or something. I knew he was from news & kanjani. I just knew k8 by name then but not the whole group itself. Then I came to watch the summary 2004. And I just loved the traditional song sang in the intro. Ok, Tegoshi had a high voice & all. But I just needed to know the title of the song!
Since I kinda had the idea that summary was a singing of own songs & senpai songs, I came to know that alas! It's from this group! Kanjani8!
But I don't think that is the only reason I got into 8. I kinda forgot already!
LOL I have such a bad memory!

Now im already settled in K8. ^_^
It's all my sister's fault!
being the crazy manga fan that she is, she got curious at the Hana Yori live action, we watched it on youtube. And I thought matsujun's hair is hideous there! But my sister didn't seem to mind and just swooned over him. So there she digged matsujun info and the JE name came up. So when I discovered the name Kinki & kat-tun. It turned out i've heard of JE already ages ago, i've been missing out on so much already. During that time we didn't have a pc yet. And it seems that I've been hearing JE songs from along time already! Akazukin cha-cha (SMAP), Ultraman (V6). Well, at least better late than never huhh?
