Roukanken and Hakurouken
So I actually went to karaoke last night. I think I had more fun on the ride there and the ride back than I did while I was actually there. I spent a good chunk of it getting ignored, as usual. I still think it's funny that people wonder why I don't usually do social gatherings. Phoebe bought me booze though, so there's that at least.
Of course, then I got a call from my boss because someone needed to clean the Pontiac store, a task I had to complete on four hours of sleep and a minor hangover. Needless to say, I was not pleased. That is, until one of the employees there came up to me and said thank you for doing a much better job than their usual janitor. She even gave me a candy bar for the effort. I love getting morale boosts like that. They mean a lot more to me than I think they would to most people.
Nexus is officially online. It has taken -way- too long for us to get to this point, but I'm glad it's here. I'm also still disappointed that we had to abandon the old setting, but I think I'll be happy with it regardless; being in charge of the magic realm lets me do most of the things I wanted to do anyway. Plus custom items. Lots of custom items. Items items items.
