Whooo! I know have internet in my room again! :-D
I life news, Bday party was this weekend. I had a blast. Meggie showed up first, and we hung out and watched The Thomas Crown Affair. Neat the end Tabby, Heather, and Kate showed up. We busted out FF movies and Simpons Clue to keep us occupied, as well as snacks which dissapeared rather quickly. Meggie had to take off, and we started dinner, some delicious Burmise stackie-upie, prepared by yours truely. Nicole, Emiliy, Amanda and Ricky all showed up about halfway through dinner, so we mingled and hung out and such. Popped in Batman Begins afterwards, and it was quite entertaining with much commentary. Nicole at this point had of course, started making margaritas, regretting the lack of tequilla to strengthen the drinks. Tabby and co. had to leave around 9, and we were going to go bar hopping, but Ricky had early morning things to do. >_< But we still managed to have a great time.
Ironically, even with the house to myself this weekend, it may have been more efficient for me to have had the party in Stockton, since no one except Meggie was able to make it that lives up here. >_<
But I had a blast, and couldn't have asked for anything more.
Tabby got me a really cool lain art book, with the manga included. ^_^ Thanks again Tabbers! And Heather got me MGS3: Subsistance, which I've already beaten. :D Tis very good. Still need to play through all the bonus material and better ranks and so forth, it's realy a great game.
In other news, Prima goes well. I'm not learning all that much, I'm just being used as a minion really. That's a bit worrysome, and I'll have to talk to Sue about it, but all in all I'm really enjoying my time there.
My attempts at obtaining a job at the local Gamestop are...interesting. I was supposed to talk to the manager, Ivan, today, but he no longer works there, for undisclosed reasons. So I'm stopping in on Friday to talk to AJ, the Assistant Manager, and potentially the new manager. I'm starting to wonder if I really want to work there.....but it is nice and close to Prima....Hmmm.
PS3 reservations went on today, and of course they all dissapeared in a matter of an hour, since each store will on be seeing 8 systems. (A lucky few will see 16) If you check out eBay, prices are already $1500+. Makes me wish I had reserved one just so I could sell it. :p
I've been reading The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (a late X-mas gift from Tabby) and it is truely opening my eyes. I'm seriously considering converting to Pastafarianism. ^_^
