OK, so Prima was pretty cool. Job wise I didn't do anything really exciting. I got to go throught their previous intern's last project of organizing all their advertisements over the past five years. He was up to 2005, so I had to figure out his system, which took an hour, and then get to work organizing the rest. In fact, I have that to finish when I go in tomorrow.
The office itself is pretty nice. It's fairly spacious, with cubicles and offices and nice, large walkways. Everythig, including the cubes, are decorated with geeky items, so it's got a good vibe to it and all. Big lunch room, access to outside shade + tables, all good. I even have my own cubicle! Yeah, it's sparse, with really nothing of interest in it, but I still have my very own cubicle at Prima. So cool.
The lady I report to, Sue Look, was actually out on Tuesday, so I worked with her boss, Mark. Apparently his is the guy you will least likely be able to find in his office. Mounds of meetings, and he's off on business trips lord knows how often. But everyone there seems pretty nice. And from the sound of it, they'll make some excelent connections. ^_^
In other news, I slept horribly last night. I really don't know why. I was up til about 2:30 chatting, and then I tried to sleep. I woke up ever hour or two, and I know I reset the movie I had popped in at least once since it was still playing when my alarm went off at 6. 6 in the morning has no business existing. It sucks.
I nearly fell asleep in both of my classes today. But I did get in some excelent conversation time with both Crystal and Kristin, two friends I haven't had the pleasure of hanging out with in far too long. ((14 year and 3-4 respectively))
