OK, update of speedy goodness.
Last weekend I went back down to Stockon for a couple days. I picked up my accumulating mail and said hi to the old roomies. They're doing well, have rearanged the front rooms into nearly unrecognizable form, and there is yet another dog in the house.
I also ordered my Transcripts from Heald, and those should be ariving shortly. I stayed with Heather, who was kind enough to put up with me for several days. We got to hang out, also went to see Tabbers and Kate and got a free meal. ^_^ Ursala's a bitch.
The week itself hasn't been too noteworthy. The parents are in SoCal, so it's just been me and Dana, which is nice. I've done chores, looked for a job, figured out what I'm taking at Sierra this year, and played with some friends. Pretty usual stuff.
Though I went to Jack in the Box the other night 'round 1 in the morning, and the guy at the drivethrough actually acted like a person! Maybe it's just because he was tired and ready to go, but he actually talked and did random crap and had opinions and such! It was crazy. Or maybe he's just still full of hope and has yet to set into the reptitive tediouness of the job. And we think the people behind me threw a coin at him because my food took a while to make...stupid blighters.
Well, today, I'm up early. ((and of my own volition!)) I'm headed to San Francisco with a friend to go and visit Andy. More people were going to come, but those plans fell through. In fact, this trip was suposed to happen two weeks ago! >_< Ahh, well. It'll be cool to see him and what he's up to and such.
I've nearly beaten Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time which is a good thing because I intend to turn it in towards my FFVII: Dirge of Cererbus purchase. The game is pretty fun, with a cute story, excelent battle system, and some pretty funny, more mature jokes as well and the kid stuff. And there are some pretty funny old-school cracks made occasionally too. Luigi gets ripped on so constantly, you almost feel sorry for the guy...
I need to pick up Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, both because I need a high quality game for my PSP aside from Lumines, and I never got to play the original. For the peoples I've talk to, it still rocks, though with minor load-time issues. Can't wait to try it out.
Umm...and there the mental train stops. So, good morning all!
