Taking a break from reading, it's been getting slower and slower everyday here, just got a couple of new books in this week. One is "Broke" by Karen Slaughter, also "Cold" by T. Giresten. Name is probably spelled wrong, I don't quite remember her name, but she wrote a book with 2 women detectives "Rizzoli and Isola" this week a new TV show came on about these two detectives, and it was excellent, right to the top of my list. The actress playing Rizzoli also played the part of the detective on the "Women's Murder Mystery Club" based on the series by James Patterson.
Chrys had her echo-cardiogram done yesterday and the vet said that her heart was fine, but she really needed to lose some weight, I'm going to start cutting back on what I put down for her and see if that helps, she doesn't like to go very far, except for in the back yard to do what she needs to. I've got some medicine for her, a cough suppressent and something else, plus back on her predizone. She has been doing much better since the temps got out of the 90's unfortunately the temp is going back into the 90's again. When I dropped her off at the vet's yesterday as the tech was taking her into the back room she looked back at me with what I refer to has her Eeyor look (the donkey), she looked so sad like I was sending her to walk the last mile.
While Chrys was at the vets, my oldest daughter, her daughter and her boyfriend and I all went to look at some new ShihTzu puppies. They were born on June 6th and will be ready to go on Aug 1st. They were all really cute, but one of them had gotten herself stuck in a corner and when the girl moved some stuff and she could get out she headed straight towards us and tried to push the laundry basket, that they were using to block off the area where the puppies were, out of her way. I picked her up and she just snuggled up to me, at that point I knew that she was puppy that I was looking for. She's got a white body with black spots and her face is black, I'm naming her Panda.
