(no subject)
Found another old friend the other day on FB - and have re-added him to my list here. Welcome back Patriot.
Since I've been back on LJ, there are two things that I totally dislike, the "commercials" that come one when I open it up. Plus all the posts (extemely long posts) from the LJ team.
Things are still the same. The good news right now is that my son Dan found a job last week and will be starting next week. I know that he is totally thrilled over this one. He was overed another job that he ended up turning down because it was in NH and that would be a 2 hour plus drive, and they work 4 10 hour days. He has a truck and it would have cost him his whole paycheck just for gas.
I'm going to start apartment hunting again. My lease is up the end of July. I now have enough money saved up for me to move. I doubt that I have to be out by the end of July, but I don't feel right staying there after that. At least not for too long, I do intend to find an apartment that I truly want (similiar to the way I really feel about the apartment that I am now in).
Job status is the same, just counting the days till I'm out of here now. Things just keep getting scarier every day, with the way they are doing things. They are suppose to start sending our work to NY as of June 1st. Since I haven't heard anything yet (neither have any of the other admins) I will continue to do any work that comes across my desk. I really think that this will turn into the biggest farce I've ever seen. If they have no idea by now how they are going to get our work done in NY, they have been working on this for over a year now.
