My poll worked! It had the desired effect of forcing D to see that paper plates are ghetto for Turkey Day. It was an uphill battle but your persuasiveness prevailed!!
We are off to Ikea next week because like dorks, we never registered for wedding china and while my thrift store plates are rad, we don't have enough....oh and they've been used every day for 7 years and are starting to look it.

And I don't mind washing dishes.....as long as my aunts and m-i-l don't decide to help. I hate that!!!! (Mainly because I have to endure all the comments about how I'm doing them wrong.....)

Holy crap...my 7th wedding anniversary is next month. Traditional gifts: wool or copper. Modern: desk set. I bought D a new desk for his anniversary/xmas prezzie, so he's pretty much done. What to do about a wee giftie, though???
