well, after forgetting all of my badge schtuff, my In-N-Out hat, etc, I got to SFO and since I had a 50% coupon, I decided to try another parking provider...
We'll see how it works. I had to hike back to their offices to catch the shuttle, and she made a loop all around SFO.
I had to wait to check in even though I was on a business class upgrade. Then, I had to educate the sweet lady at the counter "no, my flight from MKE to PIT is correct---it's a CRJ and there's only two seats on either side---no middle seats!"
Then, I was hoping to exchange all of my BART paper tickets and put them on one that I could add onto my shiny green Translink card. I ended up getting a list of places I could do that---San Francisco and East Bay. grrrrr.
I decided to walk instead of take the AirTrain back to Terminal 1, so I thought about the different ways I've gotten to Pennsylvania over the years. America West. US Airways. Northwest. Jet Blue via the Hobbit Hole. last year, partially Airtran...
Then, after an hour of checking email/working on things, I get to the gate and they're oversold and end up offering TWO round trip tickets on where-ever Airtran flies....if I didn't have to be in Pittsburgh tomorrow at a semi-decent hour, I'd have done it. Another thought I had was to have them try to get me on the Frontier flight. Rather than cause more stress from an already stressed staff, I stuck with this comfy business class seat.
We left early. A good thing. Also the XM Radio wasn't working. That has been fixed. Good things come in threes---the fasten seat belt signed just went off....(grin)
PROGRESS.....
For those going to PIT, see ya soon. I think there are 3 congoers on this plane---I'll know for sure when I get on the CRJ...(grin)
