this school improvement plan is such a piece of shit. it's the most superficial, shallow, fake ass thing and what sucks even more than it is that it's exacly how the world works.
so we all have to be on our best behavior when these ass holes from the city come to check out our school, or our funds get cut. "remember guys: heads up, look attentive, if they ask you what our school is based on say these two words: responsibility and communication." so basically- be fucking parrots. say and do waht we tell you to so that your school can get money.
fine, the money's for us. for us to benefit. but fuck that. why should we benefit from a lie? from a fraud. that's all that this is. just look good for the inspectors, adn all will be well. holocaust much? this is fucking ridiculous.
so i try to complain to my mom. i figure, she's my mom, she'd understand how wrong this is, how insulting and demeaning it is to be treated like puppets. does she understand? no.

"what do you think tomorrow's gonna be like, arielle? that judge is goign to take one look at you and have to make a decision within 5 minutes. the first words that come out of your mouth and how you carry yourself are how he is going to decide what your sentence will be. that's how it works. do you want to present yourself badly in that situation? no. then why would you poorly represnet your school?"

then i had the realization that it's true. that's what life is all about. how you present yourself. first impressions mean everything. flasity is the general idea of things. everything that we live, everything that we base our lives on, is fake.
nothing is real. the world is all fake. how can we live in a world like that?? where people try to be other people, beacuse they know that those types of peopel will succeed.
