UFO turned FINISH!
I just pulled my animal alphabet off the frame a few minutes ago. I'm very excited to have it completed after a three and a half year hiatus. You'll notice a small white space near the "A" for "Animal". There was a design there that said "Wild Ones", but I decided to leave it out because I wasn't all that fond of it.
I may, or may not, put something in it's place. If I do, it'll be something small and simple. Maybe that old Coke symbol--Anyone remember the Sun that wore sunglasses?
I haven't decided what to do next, but I've now finished all of my unfinished castoff's. I start fresh and new from here.
And now for PICTURES!
Something simple like this would be perfect (and easy to translate into stitching. The eyes would become sunglasses.
Here's that coke symbol, but I'd naturally remove the bottle.
I do think that the first sun is a little more true to the design, don't you?
And now I have to email a photo to my mother! She's on the cusp of finishing her own UFO (a train station kit--very cute), and my finish just might spur her on.
