...was pretty discouraging! There were HUNDREDS of teachers there vying for the twelve measly positions available. Hopefully I impressed the principals I interviewed with...but my hopes are not high! I do not have all my eggs in one basket though. I have also emailed principals in other counties expressing my interest (READ - BEGGING) in positions in their schools. I still have hope that all my hard work will pay off eventually! I am trying to maintain a positive attitude. THAT is who I want Cullen to see me as. Not someone who gets discouraged and throws in the towel. I want to be someone who works hard and keeps working harder when things don't go my way the first time! I want to lead by example and show my babe how to roll with the punches when life gets you down!
...don't get me wrong! I had a few pretty depressing days after the job fair. BUT, life goes on and I'm going with it! So, this week I will be a busy girl. I'm hoping to hear back from a county coming back from Spring Break. I have to head to a store to get a wedding gift, grad school work due Wednesday and Sunday, and a wedding reception for the fabulous Addisons on Saturday! I can't wait to celebrate with them!
