YES. I've been wanting some kind of Sherlock meet-up to happen in Seattle for ages, since I know there are lots of fans here. I am all over this, and I'd be happy to help plan, or, I dunno, put up posters.

Well, I know there have to be lots at UW, because I've seen "I believe in Sherlock" and "Moriarty was real" posters and tshirts and stuff all over the place on campus, but I have no idea where they all actually lurk, especially as it's summer. That might still be a good place to advertise, though. Maybe try all the other cons that are coming up? GeekGirlCon and Lubricus are in August, which might be a bit later than is ideal, but I know GeekGirlCon at least has a pretty active blog, so you might be able to ask them about advertising.

There used to be a Seattle fandom LJ community, but I think it died out ages ago, unfortunately.

I have indeed posted this on tumblr at the-mamishka and managed to get the Baker Street Babes to reblog it for me. It's sad because tumblr is CRAP for communicating and commenting, but is so hugely popular, while LJ is AWESOME for communicating and commenting and, well, isn't. ;)
