The election has me worked up. I have never before cared so passionately about a candidate. Because for the first time I feel that the candidate cares about ME. I loved Bill Clinton. As said elsewhere, I'm really pleased, and very proud, that you got to do this.

As you know, I don't agree with you - I feel the polar opposite about Obama, completely alienated, to the point where I felt bullied and pushed out of the party I've supported since Senator Obama himself was in grade school.

At this point, honestly, I don't care who wins this thing - both parties have ceased representing me. (edit: care on the personal level, that is - badly phrased. I just don't have the faith in either one to fix anything, McCain is obviously seriously loathesome, and Palin is, well, ugh.)

But everyone who wants to vote should have that right. And the people who do what you've been doing, making the locations and times available to people, letting them know they have the right to go do that if they so choose and if they feel any of the candidates do represent their interests, are doing what I decided months ago that neither of the candidates cared about: protecting the Vote, rather than the vote for the candidate.

Rock on, darlin'. I lost my vote to party bullies, but I'm pleased and proud that you kept those doors open for people who didn't.
