Naima's room + Bebe Monkey
GO ME!
Because my little Nunu Bear is away this weekend (boo :-(), I took the opportunity to rearrange and organize her room.
Ie:
- I went through all of her toys and got rid of the ones she doesn't play anymore. They will go to donations
- I went through her clothing (undies, socks, shirts, pants and shoes) that she has outgrown (*sob* She is getting so big!)
- I also went through all of her books. Some are just not for her age anymore, and thought maybe to give to friends who have younger babies that would enjoy them.
This took me an entire afternoon. Phew! I am tuckered out. Of course I had to take a few breaks every now and then. This pregnancy is really hard on my back. But hey, it got done!
Tada!! THIS is what a REAL little girl's room should look like ;-)
Not having random toys, scrambled on the floor and the plushies in every corner... I should have taken a before shot .... oh well!
And yes, she did keep her balloons from her birthday party. Even all 6 of her helium-filled butterfly birthday balloons.
I have noticed that she has a collection of her jewelry, but she doesn't have a jewelry box. Maybe we will take a peek at thrift stores for one that I can glamourize it for her. Plus, I want to get her more plushies. And this is only because she is getting very fascinated with animals. Every time we go to my midwife's appointment, they have a kiddy corner with toys and loads of animal plushies, so I thought maybe we should start a nice collection of animals for her. She'll love that! It'll be our scavenger hunt day :D
I just wanted to post a comparison shot again from when I had Naima and now Monkey.
I still cannot get over how bigger I am with this one.
I know, I know, they say you get bigger with your second ... but man, people are convinced I am due any day now :-S
