Back and Forth
It took me a bit for it to hit me. We're engaged.
So, looking through blogs and such for ideas of a wedding. The back and forth begins:
Wedding.
No Wedding.
BIG Wedding.
Small Wedding.
HUGE Reception Party.
Small Ceremony.
Elopement?
Very small wedding.
No Big Party.
UUUGGGH! I wish someone had told me that this could get overwhelming and a bit stressful. I haven't even chosen my colours yet, another back and forth fight. And it doesn't help that we have debt either. So with that, it has brought me down to having a very small wedding to elopement. I haven't fully decided this yet. For now, I am leaning towards more of a very small wedding. But who knows. I may change my mind again. Good thing there is lots of time to plan this.
Speaking of elopement, I came across an elopement video, which I thought was very cute!

This made me cry. It's so beautiful. But again, I am not sure if I could do this. I'd want our families and closest friends to be there.
After all, if it weren't for their support, we wouldn't be here.

The announcement
I understand some of my family, as well as my better half's for being upset about not being the first ones to *know* about our engagement. All fairness, it was a spur of the moment and it wasn't planned. However, I DO apologize for posting on FaceBook and Twitter as well as on my blog before telling them after it had happen. That was a little dumb on my part. My dad was more sad that he was the last to know since he doesn't own a FB account.
With that in mind, I am keeping all my private life experiences out of the web world, except from my blog :-P (gotta keep'em somewhere!)
