About this "Movember" crap. People are missing the WHOLE idea of awareness to an extend of creating such ridiculous and irrelevant ideas. And just so everyone doesn't get so pissy or feel ATTACKED (IT'S NOT ALWAYS ABOUT YOU!) ... although shame on you for thinking that it is a way of showing support. It makes no damn sense to me.
So here are my 2 cents.
Lesson 1
awareness: (noun)
awareness of knowledge of, understanding of, appreciation of, recognition of, attention to, perception of, consciousness of, acquaintance with, enlightenment with, sensibility to, realization of, familiarity with, mindfulness of, cognizance of.
In relation to previous moronic ideas to "create awareness" for breast cancer, for "fun", (ie: irrelevant Facebook statuses), this "Movemeber" thing going on this month, is another example.
Lesson 2
Movember (a portmanteau of the words 'moustache' and 'November') is an annual month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November. The event has been claimed to have been invented in 1999 by group of Australian men from Adelaide.

It is a cancer, duh?! But it's a cancer in the prostate glands of a human male. North-American men are mostly affected by this.
