I've finally got an evening to myself! I'm in my room a corny favourite DVD, and I'll carry on with my book after this! The trouble is, I'll then have to buy the fourth one in hardback. I can't WAIT for it to be in paperback! Dammit, it's expensive, and it messes up my neat bookshelf collection.
Book habit is getting bank-breaking. I bought a new Pratchett today. HOW did I miss the release of a new Disworld Book? I didn't even know about "Unseen Academicals" until I found it in Waterstone's today.
I had a fairly awkward moment at work today. I'm in work on Monday . So is Bitch woman.(We're getting along, but she's still a bitch!) I couldn't find a quiet moment to give NICE lady my contact details before I went home and didn't see her for season.
I don't think I pulled it off descreetly, especially since nice lady said "Oh thank you" very loudly!
It's not like she'll tell bitch woman what was on the paper it's just that it was kinda obvious. I got out of the place fast after that! It's hard to say a fond farewell when there's someone in the room who is totally disliked by everyone.
At least Bitch woman doesn't approve of any work based friendships. Poor woman. In a job like ours it's hard NOT to find lots in common!
I'm enjoying the peace. But not the smell of lamb ribs (raw and cooking) in the kitchen. Veggie or not, it STINKS!
