(no subject)
Working from home today has solidified my intention to work for a few more years until I have enough experience and then...FREELANCE. This is the best day! The wind is howling outside, and things (branches and twigs, presumably) are hurtling around the yard...but where am I? Inside, with slippers and PANTS WITH CATS ON THEM! I haven't even showered yet.
The best part? I'm probably MORE productive that when I'm actually at work...because when I'm actually at work I'm not left alone for a minute. Not even a nano-minute. No matter what I'm doing...I can have a phone to my ear, my lunch in one hand, and be typing with the other and STILL that doesn't signify to some people that maybe I'm BUSY.
My dad does this every day...no wonder he loves his job! Work is so much more enjoyable without people and an office.
