Saturday was sweet/ today kinda sucked!
Another fun weekend. 2 little girls for Valentines day! We made cookies and colored and watched a movie and "Papa Wade" made pancakes for dinner and I let them have "lots of syrup"! then into the jacuzzi tub for a whirlpool bubble bath till the bubbles overflowed! After that I sent them next door for popcorn and a movie and to sleep in a pink indoor princess tent... oh my! One calls me Grandma Mame and the other calls me Auntie Mame and I'm good with both!
Work was OK today in spite of having to redo the schedule for the 5th time in 7 weeks and not sleeping last night,... until they sent us an e-mail telling us the woodwinds concert was canceled tonight because one of the students, who was conducting, was killed in a car accident this morning. NOT OK!! I knew this girl, she was in here a lot, this isn't supposed to happen, rewind, do-over, that could have been my kid!!!!! I'm not handling it well, 2 of our student assistants were in the band, they are not happy, the entire department is not happy. sheiss!
