i dont believe him...it cant be true...right?
i had a discussion with a male friend of mine today. in said discussion, he told me that it was impossible to be "just friends" with a member of the opposite sex.
this really perturbed me, because my best friend for a number of years was a guy. quoting "when harry met sally" he told me that the fundamental reason for this was because at one time or another, one person would "want to shag" the other.
now, i never wanted to "shag" brian, and i am almost definite on the matter of his feelings for me as well, simply because it WAS NEVER LIKE THAT! the only reason that i say ALMOST definite is simply because i was not inside his head, but i knew that child better than i knew myself, and better than he knew himself by far.
can guys and girls be friends, and solely that? if not, is it possible to overcome this obstacle? it seems that if a girl can have a baby and care for it at age fourteen (and in some cases, younger), than two members of opposite sexes can be friends without fucking things up with their overactive hormones, cant they?
