back in richmond. florida was tight. and sweaty. just how i like it.
after a bit of scrambling yesterday, a few of us got a new place. i shall be moving about 8 blocks away to a 4 bedroom with 4 other people (3 of which are current roomates [eric, jojo, kyle]) the house looks nice as shit. clean bathrooms, a washer and dryer that actually works, central ac and heat. holy shit we're gonna be spoiled. the landlord was trying to rent it out asap so we had to get our shit together real quick to get this. but the lease has been signed and keys are in our possession. we still have two weeks left here, so it'll be pretty nice having two weeks to move. unfortunately, i had to drop a good amount of money on this, so i am flat broke now. i even had to ask my mom for money today. bummer. i was doing so well.
while i was gone, one of my roomates finally flipped his shit about construction workers being here every morning working on the house. he was still drunk from the night before and was in his boxers losing his shit on some dude. the landlord came over and he yelled at her a shit ton. at one point, he yelled "this is america!" which makes me smile quite a bit. anyways, he somehow got her to stop construction until after we leave. amazing.
