I can't sleep!!!!!!!
Stupid me. I got a coffee at Peet's around 9 p.m. Asked for 1/2 decaf and half leaded. It's 3 am and I am still buzzing.
It's a cold rainy night here in SF. You wouldn't have any idea that it is actually spring. I'm digging the chilly weather.
Saturday was a lazy day. I got up late, caught up on some battlestar galactica, got lunch in the Mission District, and then took the N Judah to the Haight. Later I met my friend Maurico for crepes at squat and Gobble. Took the slow way home though the castro. I bought a book, got that damned coffee, and got home by 9. A couple downstairs were screaming at each other and I could hear everything across the courtyard. It seemed as if one lady had found her wife in bed with another woman....this coupled with a nasty syphilis disclosure......ouch!!!! Sucks to be them.
Mauricio called around 10 to invite me to the Lonestar with his friend Paul but I was feeling lazy and had already blown off plans to meet some friends at tonight's Bearacuda at Deco Lounge. Getting old is a bitch lol! I know that in South Texas I would complain about not having places to go to that were to my liking and now that I have the places, I am too tired to go to them lol! I guess I just like to at least have the option!
Tomorrow my friend Robyn will be in town from L.A. so I'll be meeting her for brunch. then Mauricio and I will probably catch a movie at the Embarcadero. I wanted to see Wicked this weekend but think I will have to postpone it until next Sunday. Well the infomercials are on so I need to at least try and sleep. Wish me luck.
