Weekend Update
Had a nice relaxing weekend. Friday went out to hang out in downtown Matamoros but had a boring time and walked a lot. I was there pretty early and the bars just weren't hopping. No chance on going out the rest of the weekend since it was the presidential elections and therefore no beer will be served! :-( Saturday I worked on the house and did a whole bunch of shopping. Later that day I hung out with my friend Jorge. Jorge is a new friend and he rocks...he's a comic book scifi geek and is a DDR freak. A fellow dork like me, we are becoming fast friends. Wre went to South Padre Island and swam in the Gulf of Mexico, got gelato, saw Superman II and then I drove him back home in Matamoros and stayed over at his house until 4 in the morning playing PS2 kareoke games.....since I am a Kareoke whore I was completely adicted. On Sunday it poured rain. It was election day but there was No clear winner in the presidential elections so we wait. Jorge came over to Brownsville and we hung out for most of the day and then watched movies and played PS2 until 3 am. The got lunch the next day at chick-fil-a before I dropped him off at the bridge to take the pesera back home. Today (the fourth)I worked in the yard installing a brick planter and planting some coconut palms, agave, and lantana. Compliments of a lazy walmart clerk who didn't charge me for half of it (I'm bad hehehehe) and then shoring up low spot in the yard created by the colapsed water cistern out back. It was insanely hot and humid and I thought I was pretty close to heatstroke but luckily I survived. ;-). Tonight is laundry and then I tomorrow I get to go back to that bich of a cespool otherwise known as a job. Four days obivously wasn't enough. Gotta go. Caio...and by the way....VIVA ITALIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
