What a wonderful weekend!
Just a quick note to say I made it back. Many thanks to Estudioso made my trip to Morelia one I'll always remember. It was great to finally see Temo again and Morelia.... well mas o menos me encanta! This weekend I experienced the following:
1. I saw my first Tornado close up!
2. A coconut beer at Santa Fe Beer factory in Mexico City
3. An erupting volcano from the air over Puebla....well it was steaming and that's erupting in my book.
4. We hit a guy on a scooter in Mexico City because he tried to go around us when we were turning.....damn sushi itto mopeders.
5. Finally seeing an old friend whom I haddn't seen in way to long.
6. The most amazing display of commeradery (sp?) with the most accepting and wonderful group of people I have met in a long time.
7. Strange lights over the lake between Toluca and Morelia at night...not a plane and I still have no idea what the hell it was but it was bizarre. I got a picture of it but it sucked.
8. La Marqueza National Park.
