I was watching the learning channel last night- one of their many doctor/ER-type shows, and a neurosurgeon said somthing I liked.
Am paraphrasing, but essentially he said that not many people had the luxury of helping people for a living, as he does.
May well have been saying this for the benefit of the cameras, but seemed sincere, and I just thought it was very right that he viewed what he did for a living as something he was lucky to have, something for him to appreciate.
