I saw the most gorgeous sight tonight...
Ok, so maybe not the most gorgeous, but it was pretty fucking amazing.... It was like, 6:15pm or so, it hadn't been dark for more than an hour or so, but the moon was out and was awesome, but the most awesome part was Mars that was (and still is) right under it and then more to the south of that was Venus. So bright and gorgeous. The news said that Mars is the closest it will ever get.... and to see two planets at once? So amazing. Both were so bright and (at risk of sounding totally repedative) GORGEOUS. And then when I dropped Laura off at her house after the movie, we looked and mars looked brighter than ever.... I know its cheesy and weird, but I love stuff like that. I think stargazing is one of the most romantic things to do.... during the summer especially, since you can get a blanket and go out into like, a field and just lay out and look at the sky.... ok, I am done being a romantic...
I completely overhauled my closet and half of my room today. Yes, just half of my room... the other half has all of my various christmas present projects scattered about and I am not even going to attempt to clean that area until all of the presents are wrapped and either under the tree or given to friends... I am quite excited about the gifts, really.... they are cute.... I hope everyone likes them....
We are doing yet another promotion for at the theatre.... for Narnia... Next weekend. I have been doing offsites and decorations all week... its been kinda fun, since I have also been working with Ali (my GM) on the book for our pride and prejudice and I swear to god, if we don't win first place, i am gonna freak.... we had such a freaking awesome promotion... I mean, hello, horse-drawn carriages and old-time photos and all of that? It was awesome... and our book is freaking amazing... we so better win.
I think that I start classes again tomorrow. Nice break, huh? thursday-sunday.... whooo hoooo.... but the school that I am going to, it started two weeks ago... hahahaha, luckily, I have an in with the registrar and the two teachers that I will be taking classes with... hehehe... sneaky, I know, but whatever
I should be in bed. But no, I am up, doing not much.... oh well.... i am not really tired... I was up this morning at 10am... cleaned until 3, took a little nap because it was so goddamned warm downstairs in the living room and it put me to sleep... then worked on laundry and whatnot until I got ready to go to the movies.... and then I watching amazingly gorgeous boys on a big screen for two and a half hours and now here I am.... listening to christmas music and pretty much hating the whole goddamned holiday.... for reasons i will not disclose, but that some people know and really, if you want to know, you can ask me, but I am not really in the mood to think about it....
