Ooh, I was HOPING, when I saw that prompt, that this is the sort of way it would be interpreted. Self-restraint instead of being lashed to something.

Very warm pieces (not in the fuzzy sense, but in the melty sense), they give good snippets of insight to Will's changing thoughts and purpose, as well as his maturation.

I like!

Thank you! I must admit, I was extremely nervous writing Will for the first time.

I am thrilled you liked it. :)

Self-discovery through personal restraint and self-control is a tricky thing ... but it doesn't always take years. Will's a smart guy, he can process things quicker than the average bear and figure out what needs to be done. Even if he's not sure exactly what he needs to do about it right away.

Excellent use of the prompt.

Thanks! I felt that Will grew tremendously between the two movies, and that was what I tried to capture.

Oh, I loved the way you used the prompt. It seems perfect for this telling of Will's journey. Each of the drabbles captured so much emotion and meaning - wonderful!

Thank you. I saw him on a journey both within and without. And each person around him contributed to what made him who he was by the time we see him in AWE.

I like the way each of the drabbles is a progression of Will's thoughts as the ship travels on the journey to World End. A wonderful peek into his subconscious.

Thank you, for many things.

I agree, Will is by no means a simpleton. And he is underestimated quite often. He is quiet, but assimilates quickly. And he is able to take charge and make quick decisions.
