Tezuka Moderno collection!
For a while now (a couple years?) I've been collecting Tezuka Moderno goods! Tezuka Moderno is a line of merch designed by Playset Products (who also designed Pokemon Time which I also partially collect) based on the works of Osamu Tezuka. I love Tezuka's work, I love Playset Product's work. MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN.
I've never shown off pics of my collection though! So here it is so far. :3
This is pretty much everything except a pretty Unico clearfile I have. I have other Tezuka figures and books of course but this is all the Tezuka Moderno line stuff. :3 Oh, I also have the large flocked Leo figure in box too. Forgot to take it down for pics!
- The ones in boxes are character vinyl figures
- the ones on black bases are 3D puzzle figures from Hong Kong or Taiwan! They are so cool and my favourite Tezuka Moderno things of all.
- The ones on green are like...mini vinyl figures? They have different poses the big ones so that's cool...
- The large Astroboy up the back is a money bank! I know there is a black/white edition of the money bank too. :3
- Patterned canvas bag (one of manyyyy, there is lots of Tezuka Moderno bags but this one is nice. I ain't collecting bags. This one can just...represent all the bags.)
- Metal charms and earrings! The big Astroboy ones are double sided. It's cool. :D
I think I have all of the boxed figures that were released now? MAYBE?? I have a metallic special version of Pluto coming but aside from that I don't know of any others.... But there might be other special editions or even characters I am missing completely? I do wonder if there is an Uran figure. And I think I'd die of joy if there was an 1980s Atlas figure ermahgerd. ;_; Atlasss!!!!
There probably IS other figures honestly.
The packaging for these figures is super great - there's a sillhouette of their environment on the back? So for Astro and Ochanimizu it has a silhouette of the city but for, say, Kimba it's a jungle silhouette. :D Nice little details. :3
I'm glad I have one Uran figure, at least.
I know there's lots more metal charms out there as well as little plastic figure straps of a lot more characters. I'm not that interested in hunting them all down though... Large figures display nicer. There's also a big vinyl sleeping Astro but so far it's been way out of my price range and it's not that great ehhh.
