Merry Christmas, y'all! I started writing this post two hours ago but then I got distracted by Going Postal on the teevees, hurrhurr. It wasn't very good but it had Terry Pratchett cameoing as a postman SO THAT'S COOL.
Anyway, whatever. ART. I have been doing some. Because, hey, I have a Cintiq! And I am really preoccupied with getting this thin lines + airbrush thing to work for me.
Couldn't think of anyhting else so I defaulted to some sort of...reptilian...dragon...quetzacoatl....thing..................
I just wanted to draw a sweet feather crest, not gonna lie.
Maal (?) for Rocket-chick!
And I started drawing 2410 for techno4tomcats but uuuh. This isn't even what I was going for - this is the Let's See How This Character Design Works sketch that I do before I tackle the actual drawing with complex characters. Then it was 3.30AM and I was like oh god time to sleep.
Jazzed up Freya while I was listening to my podcast backlog today.
Then I liked the shading without the colour a lot more. /shrug
Then I tweaked it forever. NEVER GONNA LIKE IT OH WELL WHATEVER.
The more complex the shading/lighting, the better this style looks, pretty much. Lines need to be ever thinner though, they are still showing more than I think I'd like sometimes...? And I'm not sure on the airbrush look hmm. Painty look would be more time-consuming though. idk!
Eeeeh. Eh. Feeling pretty eh. Probably I should do more backgrounds. Yep.
