Your main fandom of the year?
Um. Pokemon, I guess. I'm not very fandom-active.
Your favourite film watched this year?
Dunno. I have a hard time keeping track of what I've seen and liked. xD HTTYD and Megamind were both good. Good year for Dreamworks animation!
Your favourite book read this year?
The Name of the Wind, I guess. One of very few books I've read this year. :S
Your favourite album or song to listen to this year?
Probably Duane and Brand0's Adventures of oorrrr The Lonely Island/Terribad. I like funny music hurrhurr.
Your favourite TV show of the year?
Doctor Who. I also liked Penny Arcade TV a lot.
Your favorite LJ community of the year?
I guess it's been pkmncollectors? That's where I've been most active at least. I think in 2011 I'm going to move away from collecting and pokemon though. Still love them but pretty burnt out on new pokemon and my interest's really been shifting to books and stage shows. That sort of thing. Travel.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Doctor Whooooo!
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
I'm sure lots of things I hated have happened but they have been stricken from my mind so it's all good! (Oh wait, hold on, the Doctor's Daughter. That kind of sucked.)
Your TV boyfriend of the year?
T-the Eleventh Doctor has been pretty adorable, I gotta say. Almost entirely because of the Lodger episode.
Your TV girlfriend of the year?
Hmm. Nope.
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
C-couldn't say. Even the new pokemon...didn't really get that excited over any of them.
The most missed of your old fandoms?
Do I even have old fandoms? xD I don't think I ever really put things down again. Mm, I guess I'm sad to see Keys to the Kingdom end but, I mean, we all knew there'd be 7 books and there is zero fandom around that series. But it's a thing I enjoyed.
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
Haha, that WAS Doctor Who a month ago! I guess now I wouldn't mind getting into more TV. Star Trek, Glee, that sort of thing.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Doctor Who series 6! Also: Guild Wars 2. Also also: Dr Horrible film maybe? I don't know when that's scheduled for. >_> Next Evangelion film?
Yeah. As much as I looove pokemon I'm sort of pokemon'd out. I just find I'm not excited for the English release of B/W and I'd rather pour my hobby money into a more diverse range of stuff! I haven't been able to even get halfway through Soul Silver. I just can't do the level grind any more, argh. I still enjoy the nostalgia aaand I'm always going to be interested in new pokemon designs and art but...hm.
On the whole this last year was pretty crappy for me, really. 2009 went really well - 2010 saw everything that was wonderful in 2009 crash and burn. 2011? Could go either way.
