We have another car now. Someone asked my old bishop if he knew someone who needed a reliable vehicle and he suggested me because he doesn't trust our van. It's an Oldsmobile Intrigue and looking at it, I understand why they chose to give it away instead of selling it. Don't get me wrong, the major mechanical systems appear in great shape, but it's obvious the owner's son is a rather destructive individual. I don't know if it's a lack of coordination or just a short temper with little mechanical knowledge, but it has some interesting damage to it. However, it's not that horrible and the car gets great gas mileage. It's free and they even gave us a full tank of gas, which is muchly appreciated.
Our cat George approves of this new car. In fact, he was acting like a total pest until we took him for a ride in it. He is still very much a car cat. We took him to Seminary this mornign and he was very content to just lay there. Last night, we had to pull him out of the car because he didn't want to leave and had dug his claws into the seat.
I am really sore right now. We have all these
sweet gum trees at this apartment and I stepped on a seed ball this morning and fell. My right leg is now bruised and scraped. The ankle is probably a little tender too, but it's a tertiary pain.
