Yesterday, I explained to my mother that I was going to have to save up money for next month for my daughter's next dental appointment. I told her last week and either yesterday or the day before that I was working on getting my resume out and such.
She gets on MSN and after chatting with me, while I am entering data into a job database and researching my desired field, she asks me if I've made an appointment to get our cat Sara spayed yet. Let's see. What's more important? Keeping daughter's teeth from getting worse or making it so our indoor cat can be an outdoor one?
I love how she just needles about things when there are more important things to work on - especially while making jokes about my current finances. She has no concept of supply and demand.
Oh well, I finally got the old car hauled away tonight. And I have my resume looking nice. Still need to call the registar tomorrow.
