My America playlist (apologies to Mexico and Canada, etc.)

Okay, a few weeks ago I came across a Facebook article about "American" parties in other countries. It was amusing and probably makes up for some of the foreign-country-theme parties in the US. Still confused by the mini-marshmallows on toothpicks, though. I'm thinking mini-roasted-marshmallows. Didn't see any chocolate bars or graham crackers for S'mores.

Last month, I put together a semi-master list of my favorite songs, and I've been trying to decide on playlists. It hasn't been that easy, because once I think of a theme, most of them seem awkward. So I started to wonder what type of songs I would have on ex-pat playlist, if I lived somewhere else, like a different country, or alternate universe. I almost included Mexican and Canadian songs, but I'm now thinking I'm going to create an around the world playlist next. I already have a few selected for that. I didn't just want the obvious songs, though I did include some. I avoided a few because I either don't care for them, or have bad memories associated with them. At the end the list, I have several military songs, because the playlist is like five hours long and if I'm listening that long, then I'm really homesick. Of course, I had to have the Air Force one first, since I was born on an Air Force base.
