a milestone
there was trouble at the vending machines at work. a bag of chips had somehow fallen into a strange crevasse in the bottom of the machine and was completely out of reach. but then...the vending machine repair man came around the corner. it was perfect timing. he was an elderly man, a little bit of a beard grew upon his chin. his gray hair was ruffled, and he looked tough as nails. he motioned for me to step aside and then got down on one knee to examine the mishap. he gazed at it for what seemed like hours and then finally said, while gazing at the stuck potato chips...
"i have been doing this job for 12 years and... i have never seen anything like that."
