deliciouspear because I am about to be at the "you must make a decision" point!
I've been on a quilting jag lately. Well, REALLY, I've been on a "Holy Shit - You have over 100 unfinished projects in assorted boxes and closets around this house! You should deal with that shit" jag. Quilting is part of it because I have many quilt blocks or partially made quilt blocks or un-backed quilts and I think i'm a darn good quilter, if I do say so myself. Plus the quilting/sewing chair is one of the few places in the house that's comfy for me to sit in.
Here's a picture of Gusto "helping" me with the latest one:
Here's a (not the greatest quality) close-up of some of the blocks so you can see the teacups. I have a THING for fabric with teacups, teapots or watering cans on it!
My question is this:
Originally I was going to make a queen-sized single quilt out of these blocks, but as I've been sewing the long strips of blocks, I'm realizing they would also make two really cool shawl/lap-quilts. I was thinking of maybe giving one to my step-mom and one to Jordan's mom for Christmas if I did that. However, they also would look really freakin' awesome as one big-ass quilt. Either way is about the same amount of work.
Your thoughts on which I should do please!
