Birth and Death

Got home from a long birth, which ended awesomely, went to bed and was woken up to a phone call telling me that one of our friends in Sendai is no longer "missing" but is confirmed to be dead.

It's been a very up and down week in ways I can't even articulate.

It the midst of sorrow, there was also this wonderful event. Life will find a way.

(Even if it means I cried a LOT today.)
