Knocking at the door
I have a door but I am not required to answer it just because you're knocking or ringing my bell. Repeated loud knocks, repeated bell ringing and screaming into the door for me to open up when you know I'm home and know I heard you accomplishes nothing aside for breeding ill will. You don't know why I am choosing not to answer the door and don't have to understand either. My opening my door to you is a privilege that must be earned and not abused.
