(no subject)
sooo right now im at my dads work in LA
and i've come to the realization that when i get older, i really want to go into the film industry. my dads new office building use to be the headquarters to some gas company and now its the Los Angeles Center Studios building. it has lots of film and sound studios and apparently a lot of movies and tv shows have been filmed here. legally blond, anchorman, the island, fight club, mr. and mrs. smith, and a lot of other good ones that i cant remember, have all had scenes shot here. and i got to see the place where they took pictures for the billboard of mr. and mrs. smith
this place is cool also cause there is all this movie equipment just lying around in the most random places. like right now i can see about three hair and make-up trailors and earlier there was lighting stuff, cameras, and body part props. only in LA can you be going to your office building and walk by half of a dead guy's body.
speaking of movies, after my dad is done working i think we're gonna go see king kong and i'll im saying is that it better not be a freaking three hour waste of my life...
