Okay, so I counted up the blocks I have completed and realized that if I were to finish all the blocks I want, the quilt would wind up being king sized. That wont work. I wanted it to be one she could cuddle up with when it gets cold.
So my super smart husband said, why not put blocks on both sides of the quilt? Genius! I have always hated the back sides of quilts because they are just blank. As of late, people have been adding items to the back and they look SO much better.
So we grabbed pen and paper and started calculating. 6 rows wide, by 7 rows long. I want to incorporate the book covers on the quilt. That is one of the things she loves most.
So what I wind up with, taking into account the books. Wow, this is going to be beautiful. :)
